I'm still a big fan of beer n' dogs, though!!!

I'd love to see an FC game, just to be part of all the excitement.
Hockey games have always been kind of rowdy, haven't they?

Good. You should be part of the excitement, not all those soccer moms who just want to see the excitement. I'm pretty sure I'm going on Thurs.

Red Bulls suck!

Possibly the worst sports crowd I've ever seen. The sport almost seems to be an after thought happening off to the side. What a snooze-fest!

Actually the flight attendants said hi to him as well and I don't even know where they were from!

So I'm just curious.. for any of you on here that have tickets to the FC games.. where have you been sitting? I actually sit in 3 different sections depending on the game because my season tickets are just spread out like that.

Anyone sit in one of the supporters sections?

Only once. And it was a great experience, although one fella with the drum could definitely stand to improve

I've sat right in the middle highest row, second tier, west stand. I've sat in 117 and 121.

Supporter section is great, but it has to improve imo. It NEEDS a Capo!

Hey, I'm planning on going to see a TFC game and see some of Toronto from the states.

This is a two-parter, Where are all the hot Portuguese/Hipster girls in your town? Bonus points for a dedicated hangout hipster Portuguese chick. Toronto, don't let me down.

Hipsters: Queen St West/ Queen St West West/ College St West (around College/Clinton)/ Kensington Market, etc...
Portuguese area is north a few blocks and a bit west of Queen St West, around Dundas/Lansdowne
and College/Lansdowne. Also there is a cool Brazilian restaurant called Rio 40 on St
Clair West that attracts a fair amount of Portuguese people, too. The Brazilian and
Portuguese co-mingle... to a certain degree, and I would say most of the Portuguese
community in Toronto is from the Azores, but I don't know that for a fact. Tuscani01 is the
best person here to answer your question! Have fun when you are in town. Where are you
coming from?

You got it right!

The Portuguese community is huge, and everyone pretty much gets along regardless of where they are from (Brazil, Portugal, even Angola!) The Azores is where most of the original immigrants came from, so yea... many people are Azorian.

You will have no problem finding cerveja e pasteis de nata here in Toronto!

Oh... and we make good futebol fans too!

It's amazing to see how successful the TFC has become in such a short period. I understand that there is a huge number of season tickets, and every game has been a sellout for quite awhile. Are there any concrete plans/proposals to increase capacity beyond 20,000 seats? I believe I read somewhere in the main Canada forum that it is possible to add in more tiers of seating.....and an increased capacity would work perfectly with the Argonauts, as well as the huge demand for TFC tickets.

Here in Vancouver, it was announced today that BC Place Stadium would receive a $250-million overhaul: a new retractable roof, glass facade around the stadium, renovated concourse, ring LCD screens, new scoreboards, lighting, acoustics, and new seats. All by the Winter Games, with the exception of the new roof to be completed by summer of 2010. The BC Lions are in the dome as we all know, and the Whitecaps - which will probably enter MLS as a result of this development - have signed a five year lease from 2011-2016.

I might be going to Toronto this summer, who knows maybe I'll drop in for a TFC game! :p Though a very simplistic and bare bone design, the roudy fans make up for what the stadium lacks.
