Nice pictures Nexis, but for someone who visits this thread (or the Interstate thread) on a casual basis, it's basically just a million pictures posted by you of nearly the same thing, could you possibly lessen the total amount or the frequency in which you post them? Thanks!

On another note, you sure do spend a lot of time in a car.

Those pics are much more relevant. When you see those other pics with houses and too many trees again and again, you just might get bored.

In the US would this be allowed?

I'm wondering because in Europe a brocken line would be needed:

DanielFigFoz, In california and much of the US, there is a separate lane in the middle that is shared by both directions. If the road to be entered is significant enough it will get a dedicated "turn pocket" like so

and the intersection itself would have no line and then the line would continue afterward.

Otherwise there are also for less significant roads and driveways left turn lanes, which are solid with broken in the center at which you can turn left anywhere provided the person in the opposite direction does not have the same idea. The arrows in this picture are often omitted.

Exit 0 is US 9 it goes to the Cape May - Lewis Car Ferry, and a few beaches.

Like i said before Small streets and Driveways don't get there own turning lanes or break in the lines, but you can turn unless it says you can't. Only Major Roads and Intersections get a Turning lane , and most intersections are wide enough that you don't get stuck behind the turning vehicle.
