I don't find Chinese airports or Chinese carriers appealing. I also find KE a little more advanced than DL when it comes to service product.
I do agree. It would benefit both Korean & Delta and help to fill the gap for SkyTeam as far as having a joint venture partner across the pacific.

Thank you for posting the pictures! Been looking around everywhere trying to find current status. Looks like the layout will be pretty similar to the one in the Terminal 1. Terminal architecture looks awesome though!

Aeromexico announces Seoul, South Korea as its new destination in Asia

Mexico City, January 19, 2017. – Aeromexico, Mexico’s global airline, announced the beginning of new service with four weekly flights between Mexico City and Seoul, South Korea starting on May 27, 2017. This new service is in line with the carrier’s international expansion plans for 2017.

The route will be operated with Aeromexico’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft which has a capacity of 243 passengers, including 32 in Clase Premier, Aeromexico’s Business Class Cabin. The 787 Dreamliner is considered one of the most modern commercial aircraft in the skies, featuring extra legroom between seats and bigger overhead bins for carry-on bags, larger push-button dimmable windows, and Sky Interiors LED lighting.

Flight schedules on the new route will be as follows:

AM090 MEX2158 – 2338MTY0118+1 – 0600+2ICN 788 x247

Aeromexico’s Chief Revenue Officer Anko van der Werff said “Aeromexico is proud to add Seoul to its route network as its third destination in Asia, as it maintains its position as the only airline in Latin America offering direct flights to that continent.”

Enrique de la Madrid Cordero, Mexican Secretary of Tourism, emphasized the importance of air connectivity to increase the flow of international tourists to the country. "Aerial connectivity has a positive impact on tourism flows and is a fundamental axis to maintaining our competitive position in the world and to stimulate greater economic growth for the benefit of those who depend on this for their livelihoods."

"In this sense, SECTUR supports Aeromexico’s vision for the operation of a new destination in Asia, South Korea, via the route Mexico City - Seoul. The Asian market is of paramount importance in our market diversification strategy. In the last four years we managed to double the transport of Asian visitors and we are sure that with this flight we will amplify these results."

With this new service, Aeromexico not only strengthens its international connectivity network, but also its presence in Asia. Further reinforcing and confirming its commitment to offer customers more options with enhanced connectivity to 45 cities in Mexico, 18 in the United States, 15 in Latin America, four in Canada, four in Europe, and three in Asia.

Concerns are rising that the opening of the second terminal at Incheon International Airport next January will sow confusion among passengers.
Instead of dividing the terminals into rational categories, the plans will put passengers on Korean Air, Delta, Air France and KLM through the second terminal, while fliers on other carriers will keep using the first.
Incheon handles more than 5 million passengers a week.

One airline staffer said, "This is the first time in Korea that a single airport will operate multiple terminals, so there's a chance that lots of passengers will go to the wrong terminal."
The distance between the two terminals is more than 15 km, and travel from one to the other will take about half an hour by shuttle bus, which could mean that any passengers who arrive at the wrong one could miss their flights.
Industry insiders said code-sharing among carriers could add to the chaos. Around 794 code-sharing passengers a day went through the airport last year, transferring from a foreign airline to onward domestic flight on Korean Air. And 1,188 code-sharing passengers a day bought tickets for a foreign airline through Korean Air.
"This will create many instances where passengers who buy a ticket through a foreign carrier arrive at Terminal 1 but end up having to go to Terminal 2 to board their onward flight," one airline staffer said.

Incheon Terminal 2 to open by January 2018:

New Incheon airport terminal to open in January

SEOUL, Sept. 10 (Yonhap) -- The second passenger terminal (T2) at Incheon International Airport will open in January next year, as it has been systematically integrated with the existing terminal, the country's largest air terminal operator said Sunday.

The integrated information system that connects the two terminals was completed Thursday, according to the Incheon International Airport Corp. (IIAC).

The merging allows simultaneous processing in both terminals for luggage and flights, among other functions, so that they can be operated as one single system.

The integrated system also enables some 6 million units of information to be processed every day, twice that of the existing system, the IIAC added.
