Great project. One of the best in Europe at this moment!
One question:Why do most of the buildings have right-angled shapes?
Is there any kind of "rule" for the new building in Zuidas to follow this?

I really love Dutch architecture, it's so different than other countries, that's why is so beautiful.

About this Maglev: how will it pass through the Zuidas? I don't see any space reservation for that.

They put this tunnel next to the others,--> check the trailer on http://www.randstadrapid.nl. But on the pictures of the zuidas, it's not reported...

And that is what worries me: the maglev tunnel, once there, has disappeared.

This is THE greatest project i've seen in a long time. Especially the underground transit corridor. Absolutely stunning.

Really awesome!!! How's it all going??

One minor complaint, though: I don't like the Symphony towers too much.

I've been staying relatively close to the area for the last month, Osdorp, and the amount of building work going on in Amsterdam Zuid is truly extraordinary, everytime I pass it I wonder if it will one day rival Docklands in London, and at the rate they're building, I don't think it'll take long

When it comes to the numer of highrises it might actually compete with the Docklands one day. Unfortunately given its close proximity to the Schiphol Airport none of the highrises will ever be higher than 105m.

There might be some higher buildings in the Zuidas than 105m. They are currently talking about it, and there are signs that they are going to build a little bit higher if you have read the Zuidas vision and certain plans. The absolute max seems to 150m.
