A penthouse in one of those (maybe the taller one) sold off the plan for around 16 million.

They are nice but are overpriced, you can get one of the townhouses on the river on Macquarie street in Teneriffe for the same money.

Yuma is right. I think they market those townies these days at 4-5 mill - and they're freehold, and don't have the FKP towers looming over you from the cheap-seat part of the Riverpark. Oh well, it's a world away from the purchasing decisions i would make anyway!

![]() Can anyone tell me what that structure is in the above photo, it has had me puzzled for years. My initial guess is that it is some form of radio receiver or perhaps the frame of a storage tank, although it seems at tad ornate for such a purpose..

Its a Gasometer, it used to have a large holding tank on the inside of it when it was a BP storage facility.

Some photos of the streets of Newstead at high tide - it's insane that there isn't some sort of stormwater system to stop the roads flooding every day!

I am really disappointed with the public space at riverpark. The place has an overwhelming feel of sterility to it, aside from the fact it is new, and there is scarcely enough room to kick a ball.
Lets hope the rest raises the bar. I had lofty expectations for this area and it's been a long time in the making. |
