LOS ANGELES | Football Stadium | Pro

Here's the latest attempt by the City of Los Angeles to get a football stadium for a NFL Franchise:

Think of it as a bigger Soldier Field.

Would be great to see the NFL in LA. Would they get a whole new team or would the Raiders move there?

I quite like it except the main stand. They should scatter the boxes around the stadium, not all on the same stand. Also the strange tribunes at the corners of the main stand don't fit at all.
I'm also a bit surprised to see they are still building NFL stadiums without a roof.

It is an interesting and recognisable design. If you this on TV you will know it is in LA where the game is played. I am not sure if I like it very much, but I do not dislike it at all. And in LA I would see you do not need a big roof, let alone a retractable roof.

Looks like a hybrid bw Soldier Field and New Mexico State University's stadium

I don't really dig it, but looks like it could be built in a year.

Jaguars, Bills, Saints, and teh Raiders will be more than likely one of the teams to move to L.A.

I don't want the NFL in L.A.

I like the design, especially how it sinks into the hillside, which really cuts down on the amount of steel needed, and it starts to relate to the landscape.

But does LA really deserve another team, they have lost how many now? Rams, Raiders, Chargers, whoever they get next in about 30 years when this is obsolete

And a renovated Rose bowl could do the job just as well at half the cost (figure about 85,000 seats, 6,000 club seats, 150 suites or so), of cousre there would be some sacrelige with how much advertising would end up on it.

USC and UCLA dont want the NFL in LA, and i have heard that USC has said they would move there home games to the Rose Bowl in Pasadena if LA pursues a NFL team

Ridiculous and not even remotely true. What the logic there? Why would USC revenue share with UCLA? They have a suitable home.
