Thank god the docklands have evolved from the Barrett boxes to the left.
Those cranes could be a number of things as theres a college, some office blocks & residentials all U/C on the peninsula now.

an update of the old view from St.Pauls
- Dashwood House is now nearly reclad
- the cores of Drapers Gardens now up
- the two white cranes just to the right of Dashwood are I think 100 Middlesex St
- Stock Exchange now reclad
and loads of other cranes for numerous other schemes to many to list.

Blimey, Willis looks rather uninspiring in that picture, I gues because no light is catching it.

I Wish St Helens was another 10 floors taller, it looks awesome

Yeah, from some angles the Willis building really does lack presence, another 25m on the height would have made all the difference....still a superb quality building up close though.

Willis is too dark and too mundane from that angle. A shame they didn't incorporate CABE's suggestion of slightly twisting the 'shells' at different angles instead of the face on version we got; maybe then we would get more of silver sides showing in this angle.

yes the blue sky certainly is a welcome sight.

just witnessed a great sunset tonight over the city and the wharf - photos here if anyone is interested....
