Great pictures, Sudheesh-ji. That's Hafeez's building in Jupiter Mills, right? Although it isn't the tower, it's still impressive.

How was progress on the Tower itself?

Ya, it is the 'One Indiabulls Centre", with two towers of 18 floors and two towers of 20 floors designed by Hafeez Contractor.

I think for the time being construction is progressing for these business towers only..The 75 floor tower seems yet to be finalised.

Leasing has started, seems the lease rentals are around Rs 400 per sft. Infact I had interacted the same day with a financial services corporate who has taken some 1.25 lakhs sft of space.

Thanks for all the updates Sudheesh ji. You've posted more pics/updates than all the imbecilic sloths residing in Bombay. How often do you plan to travel to Bombay?

anyways bhailog check this snippet of info out -

Just across the arterial Senapati Bapat Marg, Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd has begun construction of a 75-storeyed luxury residential tower on the Jupiter Mill property even as the Mumbai Textile Mill project remains on the drawing board.

Oh is it? Perhaps it might have just started.

I was with two consultants of Cushman & Wakefield, one from Mumbai and the other from Bangalore. The Mumbai guy gave me inputs about the project.

Thanks for the comments. Infact I got only two days to cover Mumbai. From South to North till Goregaon/Malad side. First day from the time I landed at Airport at about 9 AM, I was being driven around, rushing to meetings to meetings (Had five of them from south to north) till I checked in to hotel by 10.15 PM. Anyway Mumbai was kind enough to provide me with a good nightlife which relaxed my nerves.

I don't have the need to go to Mumbai often, some trip may come within two months. Most probably my next trip would be to Delhi.

Transactions at IndiaBulls

Can some one give a list of companies that have taken up space at Indiabulls? I am aware of Reliance, India Infoline, Edelweiss, NDTV. Would appreciate if anyone could tell me the rate (psf) and also the area taken up. Thanks

Adrian Smith and Gordon Gill's website just got updated. They've uploaded a PDF which contains a larger render of both the Jupiter and Elphinstone Mill towers:

Oh...God...what the hell is that hideous thing on the left?! How can anyone even think of allowing such a monstrosity to be built? That's like taking every bad thing about the Tour Montparnasse in Paris and making it 100x. Sure, it may be great for the people living inside, but what about the rest of us?!

C'mon as Indians we cant, and shouldnt complain. If i had the money I will buy an apartment at Jupiter mills, rather than, imperial or lodha or palais royale. The only worring thing is, it is too narrow at the bottom. Even a slight tremor might topple this thing
