This will make all the people around the vicinity to start dreaming big or atleast bigger than they have. This is definitely a precedent t much taller buildings in mumbai.

Nice building.Ambani has the money to do it but I still think publicizing it a one person's residence is poor PR for the man and his company when its coming up in a place like Bombay.

No, it's beautiful! It's a true landmark. I hope more buildings like this will be built. Hopefully here in the Netherlands too!

Its not a commercial building with tons of apartments. Its a residence and should be different. Living in a plain glass building all to yourself would be ugly.

Oh my word, I've only just realised that this is ONE PERSON'S house! As gts428 says, it's not very good for Ambani's image. Who needs a 173m tall house?

Oh, interesting... so that's what the guy from Remaking of Mumbai Foundation was talking about. An invitation was extended to me to participate... it's rather a pity I was not able to attend.. woulda been able to see a lot of these buildings first hand

Its for a family and not one person!

Plus many guest rooms so their friends & family can stay over.

Nevertheless people the world over live in large residences, so what! If you got the money flaunt it.

I like this building, its not ugly its unique, great pics btw.
