I am no botanist, but how are those trees standing on what looks to be 10cm of concrete floor?

The construction of the tower-complex is a process..

Phase 1:
- Digging for 6 underground floors
- Building 6 underground parking-garage floors.
- Building the 4 floor mall (which is also the base of the complex), and the 7 floor office building attached to it.
- Building the residential building (over 20 floors)


Phase 2:
- Building the over 20 floor hotel.
- Building the 42 floor office tower.


= all this will take 6 years..

And all this takes 6-years? I think its very long time, and there no chance build this like in 4 years?

GCF, I think 6 years is a long time too... but that is just a personal opinion because I'm excited about this project and cant wait till its completed... However this doesnt change the fact that 6 years for such a big complex is a realistic estimated completion time... Just look at the new skyscraper that will be built in Paris, it will not be completed till at least 2015..

If this project was just a single tower, of course it would have been constructed faster... But we should have in mind that this is not just a tower, it is a complex of towers: 1 of 42 floors, and 2 of over 20 floors.. Plus a big mall, and 6 underground floors... Thats pretty big.. 300 000 m2

The tower is fantastic. I dont think Prishtina is very attractive place for investments right now, but who cares. IMO this project will satisfy the city needs for office and commercial spaces in the years ahead. Probably Prishtina would stand another 1 or 2 towers but this would be the maximum.

I agree... for now... but I believe more towers can be expected in the future... Have in mind that not all towers need to be commercial. This complex is being built in a zone planned for mix-use destinated buildings... The residential part of the ENK Complex is "just" 26 000 m2 out of a total of 300 000 m2.. Some other tower later on may have a bigger residential part than commercial, if thats the direction the demand from the market goes...
