Just look at the new skyscraper that will be built in Paris, it will not be completed till at least 2015..

If this project was just a single tower, of course it would have been constructed faster... But we should have in mind that this is not just a tower, it is a complex of towers: 1 of 42 floors, and 2 of over 20 floors.. Plus a big mall, and 6 underground floors... Thats pretty big.. 300 000 m2
Of course i know this is complex and it is huge, and all we should be proud about this project. But i know that paris Skyline is already fantastic, but i usually compare cities who has been independent like over 60 years and, that isn't fair and i know that and kosovo isn't that rich as france is. I hope that in 2015, we have great skyline.

...judging from the recent developments, it looks like Prishtina at least will have the best skyline in the region..

Prishtina doesn't need to have the best skyline, just great is enough. Many countries has beat us already.

Sofia for exemple, Europa Tower- 180 metres (or 185 I cant remember)...also the Acropolis project with 4 towers, Bulgaria Mall, today there is some new project for a skyscraper in Sofia-195 metres. Yes, Prishtina is ahead, because this skyscraper is U/C but Prishtina is 550-600k, Sofia is 1,8mln., Bucharest is more than 2mln, or even Beograd-nearly 2 mln. These are the 3 cities with the brightest future in the region, furthermore Sofia and Bucharest are EU and NATO capitals..dont forget that.

Listen man... you quoted just a little part of what I posted... I said very clearly "...judging from the recent developments"... For now, Prishtina is the only city which has started to implement a plan for a skyscraper district, a cluster... Even if some of the cities you mentioned comes with a cool single project, it doesnt mean it can beat Prishtinas plans for a cluster of highrises & skyscrapers...
The size of a city, does affect the potential for a nice skyline - but it is absolutely no guarantee for that... There are many great, big and prosperous cities in the world without impressive skylines..
Plus you are ignoring that Prishtina is expected to grow to nearly 1 million inhabitants by 2020 (according to the Strategic Development Plan)...
Yes, you are in EU and NATO, and ahead economically - but that doesnt mean you should underestimate us and think that you always will be in a better economic situation..

And dont forget that it is not only the ENK Complex that is U/C... Also the World Trade Center Prishtina is under U/C and is located in the same zone... Both are high quality projects, and especially the ENK Complex - is something unseen in the region so far...

EDIT: I forgot to mention Tirana, which also has started to implement its masterplan for a 10 tower highrise district... Absolutely no reason for anyone to underestimate Tirana either..

My opinion is that you have done great job to do this map. But one point, when this project in complety, there's no much space to other building in that Lakrishte area.

The ENK Complex occupies only 6% of the land area called Lakrishte, and planned for the same purpose...

Lakrishte is not just the block where the ENK Complex is located (where it says "Lakrishte" on the map above).. The area to the west of it, is in Lakrishte too...
