Which shows on TV can't you stand and want to smash the telly in?

The Paul O'Grady Show - He seems to suck up and praise everyone who goes on there. He'd probably say to Rose West he is her biggest fan. Why not a chat show that slags guests off?

Any celeb show on ITV - Is it 2005 again? Not needed and most of them aren't that famous and an excuse to put Bill, Emmerdale and Corrie stars in. Plus I'd like to batter Vernon Kay.

Big Brother - Boring show for wannabees. Why does everything have to stop in Summer for this rubbish?

Skins - It seems to be drugs, shagging and oh more drugs. Their so called male "eye candy" is feminine and looks too pre-pubesecent.

skins, overrated and shallow and takes itself waaay to seriously, and cant seem to deciede what it wants to be: teen drama or a parody of it.

indeed, i have a fear now that if i mention to people where im from i may get a ''zomg, dats liek whur Skinzzz iz fillmd lol rofl'' (and that would be from 40 year olds...)

basic summary of skins:

Yeah Skins sucks, but Hollyoaks makes it look like an award winner. I can't stand that crap, why the hell does it have to be repeated like four times a day as well as on sundays too plus with the c4 and e4 +1 channels it seems like its on all day long sometimes.

Family Guy - I've seen it once and my brother was in hysterics and I just sat their thinking "I feel sick as this cartoon family is just so ugly." It's on BBC Three ALL the time and I always skip past it. One sight of the father or teenage son makes me not want to eat for about an hour.

Bizzare E.R. - Not that it is bad, because it is quite good. But it is some graphic and urgh! I don't usually feel sick seeing injuries on TV but when I saw amputated limbs and mangled body parts, I was close to barfing! You need a strong stomach to watch it!

Anything on ITV - Admittedly, some of the acting can be quite good. It is a rare possibility but it does happen. But it's the fact that it is ITV. They can plough as much money as they want into it, it will always have that stigma attached to it. I just can't stand the thing!

The Hills/ Laguna Beach/ whateverrrrr - If these things are real, then Americans, more specifically, Californians, need to get their act together. There is more in the world than themselves, clothes, shoes and when the next Italian size zero fashion label is moving into wherever. How can you feel inspired and cultured watching trash like that?!

World's Most Amazing Videos 2 - How overdramatic can you make a home video of a guy falling one storey on to a mattress!? "Bone crushing fall". "Luckily, his neighbours managed to drag a mattress to break his fall, just in time!" "Incredibly, this woman lived to see another day!" Oh for fuck's sake! Yes, there are some pretty freaky stuff but nothing I'd class as amazing. There are things that happen on there that I wouldn't wish on anyone but I only need to see the video twice and not 50 times, in slow motion, chopped and screwed with CGI explosions and cheesy synth American music with trumpets in the background! I feel ashamed that there's a British guy narrating the show! I can't take it! We've already had You've Been Framed and buckets of out-take shows! Grr.

The Weakest Link -

We liked you're sarcastic jokes initially but now they've started to wear down.
I swear, this must be the hundredth time we've seen you wearing that black gown.

Judge Judy - Why? Just WHY?!

Gavin and Stacey - Where's the appeal? I saw the first episode of the new series and I just could not bring myself to laugh at any joke. Hold a gun to my head and connect my balls to a car battery, but I still won't be able to find any moments of high comedy in that programme!

A Place in the Sun - Last time I checked, the idea of living in the Mediterranean, under the Sun, on a boat with a cocktail glass, died with Hotel Tropicana and George Michael's music career! So why do we keep seeing these ex-pats, who embarrassingly insist on wearing socks with their sandals, searching for white-washed houses in the Costa Britannica where they think they'll sample true Spanish culture?! What's worse, we have that squeeky woman, who's hair has been bleached to the point that it is falling out, showing them round, offering her 'knowledge' on the Spanish property market. Get someone with nice hair, a nice face and a bearable voice! Even then, I won't be tempted to poke a Spanish property with a barge pole.

My Sweet 16 - Like, oh. my. gawd. Fuck off you self-centred, pretentious kids! Your parents have spoilt you silly, you've grown up too fast and you expect us to feel sorry for you because some numbskull has turned up at your birthday party and started beating knocking the DJ booth to the point that the record skips!? If the whole 12 months prior to this party has been focussed on delivering something that'll supposedly make every girl and boy in your school love you 'for ever and ever and ever' then I seriously suggest you find a productive hobby. These girls are the sort of people who will work on a five year plan, but get stuck on what font to choose! It's programmes like this that are going to give them the wrong exposure. They're now going to think that they're the special ones for having a camera up in their face! Kids have lost all sense of direction now!

Why is this show comissioned to be even on the TV? I can't get over the fact that they play up if it's too cheap! I bet you these kids aren't happy. I'd rather have just my salary at work and be comfortable than have many millions and get everything they want without working for it.

As for Laugna Beach - They wouldnt care if a bomb would kill us all tommorow!

Heartbeat should be in the 70s now with punks, disco, ABBA and flares. It's TV for pensioners.

Oh Gosh, the Mighty Boosh! What the betty swollocks is it?! I have seen 5 minutes of it and even met the entire main cast at the Apple shop in the Bullring and I still cannot get it. It is organised randomness! I'd expand on your point NN and say it is as funny as the Enola Gay! BBC Three has it's good things but this is certainly not one of them. I see more comedy in Home & Away than this!

I used to like Heartbeat as it was on on Sunday evenings. I would be tucking into my warm pudding with ice cream, curled up on the sofa after a shower to watch it. Now I'm just bored to death. How many murders and tax evasions can you get in a small village in the 60s?! I don't think even pensioners can look back at it and think "Oh I remember that!" It's about time it was confined to the TV dustbin!
