metro still a distant dream

* the article is from a major hindi daily :amar ujala: *

cudnt copy paste it ..

*************************************************

metro is still a distant dream for faridabad
DMRC expects it ot be a loss making venture and so it wants the haryana govt to pay in that case

the DPR is with haryana govt now and it hasnt reached DMRC yet after the approval

meanwhile the only SEZ which fbd is slated to get wud suffer even more now .. the authorities of selecto system pvt lmtd who are making the only IT sez in fbd in sec 27 met the DMRC officials ..

the dmrc officials made them aware of the hurdles
the DPR which was sent to the haryana govt by dmrc wasnt approved

earlier 2010 was the time frame , which was extended to 2012 and now its been stretched to 2015
fbd has already lagged behing gurgaon and has suffered a lot due to the delay in badarpur elevated road and now this delay in metro wud further drag fbd down

MLA NIT FBD shivcharan sharma : i dont have any info on this

MLA badhkal fbd : ye CM ke level ka mamla hai .. i cant comment

Sorry for interfering. But do you ever question that why does media always put depressing news? or negative news? And what does corruption has to do with infrastructure?

nice question -

now listen

First of all media wahi news dikhayega jo actual mein poore country mein ho raha hai.....there are potholes here nd there on near about every city road nd even on highway......waterlogging due to pathetic drainage is a thing almost everyone is used to by now....blah blah blah......nd moreover media not only puts forward negative , depressing news....if the nation gets some fine quality infra projects like Delhi Metro, IGI T3 then the media applauds it as well......

nd regarding what has corruption to do with infrastructure -

Corruption has everything to do with infrastructure - lemme give a nice example - yeh jo apna Badarpur Faridabad Elevated Highway ban raha hai naa....it took years to kich off - Why ? - because some local MLA/MP from the Badarpur area villages were unnecessarily creating hurdles in the go ahead of the projects as they new many shops nd houses would hv to be demolished which in turn would affect their votebank.....nd they even dinn want it coz agar shops hat jaayengi toh un shops se unka jo monthly commission fixed hota hai woh bhi band ho jaata........

yet another example is the CWG 2010 Scams.....they gulped down crores of rupees in name of projects but u see the quality - somehwere the floor is cracking ....somewhere the roof is leaking...........

And above all agar Cabinet mein koi bhi material highest quality ka sanction hoga toh woh implementation mein aate tak lowest quality ho jaata hai - nd beech ka margin neta aur thekedaar log khaa jaate hain - perhaps this is the reason we have poor quality roads in our country.....bus upar upar dikhaane ke liye carpeting kar dete hai - nahi toh its not possible that a newly built road develops potholes just in one month or when it rains for the first time in that particular area....so u see corruption is really eating away our country

Nice reply, in actual infrastructure development promotes corruption in our country, as it involve huge sum of money..So it was idiot to even ask if infra has anything to do with corruption..Cheers

Corruption has direct or indirect affect on the infrastructure. Even I know that. I just wanted his opinion, that's all.
And why do you keep on saying votebank votebank all the time? and if you say that, then boycott democracy and free press.

Mate..as u r from Far..bad..just wanted to check about how much is the 'expected' change or effect of the Badarpur elevated road on ur daily commute to Delhi in terms of travel time and how many entry ramps are they building at various points for helping people of different areas to access it..
Also would it have been better if they would have made it longer ?

bro perhaps u dinn get the exact meaning conveyed by the word votebank in my post....I meant to convey that majority of people (the so called aam janta) are so foolish that if their shops/houses get demolished for some infra project even if they r compensated ...they blame the politician from their constituency ( this is the general trend)...so this is what I meant to say from votebank...that those MPs/MLAs feared of not getting votes next time......nd moreover I am a promoter of Democracy, (but not in its present form in India, the U.S. sys. of democracy is one of finest in the world) y would I boycott it........I just say that only few educated people vote with proper reasoning nd opinion making.....rest almost all of "aam Janta" is like cattles in a field - where they get more nd the greenest pasture they will run like mad dogs after it without reasoning or thinking.......I have literally got to know about certain cases where just a box of sweet and cash as low as Rs. 1000 is enough to woo the people and the next morning they vote for you (in a way that also depicts the poverty in our country)

anyways nice discussing with you

woh nice question FrankPanaMan....
the expected change or effect of the Badarpur elevated road is enormous.....its tremendous.........so much so that almost everyone is in a festive mood to celebrate an extra Diwali this time as this flyover was needed nd was in hurdles since ages.......since the day I have learned to talk n walk, I myself have been witnessing massive jams on the whole stretch from Haryana border till the point where this flyover ends in Delhi (NTPC Colony). Moreover this is vital link as it is NH - 2 and links Delhi not only to Faridabad/Palwal/Mathura/Agra but also to almost all India especially South India nd also Mumbai (as an alternative to NH - 8) .....so the jams were really eating up the economical progress of the whole region as well as a large part of India as this is an artery of trade and commerce.

And regarding entry ramps ...it will be accessible to everyone........like it a T shaped Grade separator.......with the main branch which runs straight on Mathura Road from Sarai Khwaja in Faridabad to NTPC colony in Delhi and a perpendicular access branch at the point where MB road meets Mathura Road (the major hurdle....this very T point is gonna be made signal free interchange like the AIIMS nd Dhaula Kuan Interchanges) where as the very shops on the Delhi to Mathura side of this road are yet to be taken over (or might have been taken over as I read in Newspaper that the court is to announce its decision soon) as they were the ones creating hurdles in the creation of an access ramp for the traffic from Mehrauli to join this freeway towards Faridabad/Mathura..............

and finally regarding the length of the corridor...it is fine as the planners have almost covered the major bottlenecks through this 4 Km (approx) elevated freeway.

So this is the Long and Short of it !!!!!!

Cool..

Wow! It seems like urs nd all Faridabadis prayers have been answered finally m8!

Also..say if some1 lives in the area in between this stretch..how will they get to access it..i mean, do they have to come back till the starting point or they will get access entry ramps and when they want to exit from it while returning from Delhi will they have to go to the end & take Uturn ..R there any ramps like they r building on Hyd PVNR Elevated road..

I agree about the effect on the All India commuters to Delhi...But it will be adding to ur daily expenses though..what's the xpected toll BTW?
