I hope you know Hafeez contractor is a genius when it comes to architecture, his buildings are so good.
http://www.imagebam.com/image/72f9d19475846 This is the best building he has ever created in history. I wish I was that good, but Hafeez has good architecture skills. Just to apply you need to have completed at least one year of 1st grade art to be even considered for a position. Also if you can't tell now, I am being sarcastic, hafeez is good at building...pieces of shit. |

Fourth National Level Commodity Exchange Gets Nod, Proposed To Be Set Up In Gurgaon
By Ni3, Section Gurgaon News Posted on Fri Jul 18, 2008 at 10:12:17 PM EST The Ministry of Consumer Affairs has given in principle approval to the proposal of Indiabulls and MMTC to set up the country's fourth national-level commodity exchange to facilitate trade in commodities across all sectors. The exchange was proposed to be set up in Gurgaon on the outskirts of the national capital. Confirming the development, Rajeev Agarwal, member of the Forward Markets Commission (FMC), said, "The in principle approval is as per the guidelines." Indiabulls Financial Services and MMTC are among several companies keen to start commodity exchanges after trading in futures rose 9 per cent to $922 billion in the year till March in Asia's third-biggest economy. Indian companies planning commodity exchanges need to partner state-owned enterprises or financial institutions and hold stakes of no more than 40 per cent. Applicants need minimum paid-up capital of Rs 100 crore and shareholders will have no trading interest in the exchanges either as a member or client, according to FMC guidelines. Investments in new exchanges will be subject to a lock-in period of three years from the date of recognition of the exchange. Any new exchanges will compete with the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), which has Fidelity International, Merrill Lynch and Citigroup as investors, and with the National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange, part-owned by Goldman Sachs Group, Intercontinental Exchange Band the local unit of Standard & Poor's. http://www.business-standard.com/com...Left=0&chkFlg= Source: Business-standard 19/July/2008 p.s---> i dont know what will be its benefits ![]() sm1 plz shed some light on this.....

Gurgaon-based Spice Group plans to build the country's largest budget hotel near Delhi airport.
The 3,000-room hotel would be spread over 12 acres on Sohana road and three blocks of no-frills accommodation. Spice plans to invest Rs 400 crore in the project. The hotel is being planned to start operations in time for the 2010 Commonwealth Games. The proposed hotel complex would be about 20 kilometres away from Capital's Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport. According to tourism ministry's estimate, Delhi would face shortage of about 40,000 hotel rooms by 2010. "We have already acquired land for the proposed hotel which would be the biggest in the country. The upcoming hotel would provide three-star services at the cost of budget hotel," said Spice Energy CEO Ravi Chilukuri. Instead of the usual system of charging for all facilities, the budget hotel would charge for basic services and customers would have a choice to avail other services at an extra cost. It has already acquired 40 acres near the newly built Hyderabad airport to put up a budget hotel. The promoters of the group feel that there will be tremendous demand for no-frills services in the years to come. "The hotels in Hyderabad and Chennai would not be as big as the project planned near Delhi. We are planning about 800-room hotels in both the cities," Mr Chilukuri added. Spice Group, which owns Samannah brand of hotels, is setting up three five-star hotels in Morocco in partnership with Hennesey family of LVMH. The group also runs a string of budget hotels in the UK. The group has interests in areas such as oil refining, shipping, metals, bio-fuels and power. ************************************************************************* p.s-- my engg collg is on sohna road.. in my 1st year..there was just malibu towne..1 shopping mall n a couple of aparments projects were under construction.. n rest all open barren land/fields.. in 2 years.. i dont see even a single inch of land which hasnt been occupied.. they have gone upto d border of badshahpur village....d single lane road comin from sohna..via badshahpur suddenly widens to 6 lanes

The total exports from Gurgaon in the information technology & IT- enabled services industry has touched a figure of Rs 18,000 crore at the end of last financial year 2007-08.
Stating this here on Wednesday, an official spokesman said in the year 2006-07, software export from Gurgaon was Rs 15,000 crore where as it was Rs 10,700 crore in 2005-06. In Gurgaon, the Industry is growing at the rate of about 40% , which is much above the national average of about 28%. In order to give boost to the IT industry, a regional IT industry promotion office has been set up in Gurgaon. He said, “Gurgaon is fast emerging as an IT hub and there are about 400 IT and IT Enabled services (ITeS) companies operating in the district. It has emerged as a preferred destination for IT industry after the announcement of IT policy by government of Haryana.” He said that you name any renowned IT company of the world and you will find it's office in Gurgaon. Recently, an American company Thompson, which is known for graphics and animation in the world, had also set up its office in Gurgaon. He said that due to the liberal policies of Hooda government, a phenomenal growth was registered here. http://www.financialexpress.com/news...8-k-cr/339508/

![]() yepp.. lets hope 4 d best.. but being a gurgaonite..what i have observed is dat d IT work here is more of off-shored.. as in ,, we dont haVE d indian biggies.. the mass recruiters.. ie infosys, tcs n wipro, satyam,, TCS,WIPRO n satyam are more of a showcase presense.. in ggn.. if we somehow manage to get d indian biggies here.. we can be d no.1 .. but then u need to give land @ negligible prices to them.. which cant happen in ggn.. mr nandan nilekani(head infosys) was in ggn a year back for d same..but nothing really happened.. d latest developement is that infy will make ggn d headquarter of its KPO business..

Intl biggies is a good start , ggn already looks like a concrete jungle for me .
So any new massive outlay will have to be on the Sohna road or even beyond towards Manesar or the place where Reliance SEZ is coming up. Speaking of which Reliance is a real Indian Biggie and it's presence in the form of SEZ will force the hand of a few more conglomerates to have a new presence in the Mellinium city |

^There are actually 3 of them and not 4. The second one closed down when the 4th one (much larger) opened recently. 2 of them are in Udyog Vihar with the ASF towers being the last one to open. The third one is the TCS towers which is right on the DGE.
