Ban was not lifted, but it was only for a a few days, I think he might have been free by 12th.

Sometimes he may have felt bad and left the forum. Many active forumers do that for various reasons.

He has contributed a lot to the forum particularly for putting the nation first and defending it.

Hope he returns sooner.

yes he is the only architect on SSCI.He understood things better than most of us here on SSCI his thinking was on a different note unlike the normal usual boring forumers.

He did splendid work to put India first,hope he gets back soon.

That'll be silly. One of those comments was made by a Pakistani who was dropped by Marathaman like third period French. He just trolled this forum to make himself gay and to stick it in. Marathaman should take no offense and get over it.

By the way, I don't see the 'banned' thingy under his name. So what's this talk all about anyway?

well, I think many here are getting carried away. Marathaman is an adult and is capable of handling himself as he has demonstrated in the past. He is a senior and looking by it a popular forumer and knows very well the pitfalls in SSC. Now that he is unbanned, ideally he should be able to manage it himself as he has done sucessfully in the past.

I dont think we need longer pep talks and supporting statements and group together with either pro-M or anti-M views.

Obviously many of us often get hurt by poor calls, deletion of posts etc but it is our ability to bounce back that makes us better forumers in SSC.

Unfortunately I have to concede, despite being a Mod, that these are the standards in SSC and everyone has to be responsible and cant keep sulking forever. Obviously the Mods are continually trying to improve standards in SSC and hope forumers will help contribute to a better atmosphere. Hope that helps.

I am not able to log into Gurgaon and Manesar projects thread, and that's happening since many months. Seems like a technical problem. Any solutions ??

Regarding the 'One Pic a Post' thread, sorry everyone, but I have to disappoint you. I've been getting quite a number of PMs (and a couple of emails) from people who want me to resume it, but It obviously takes a lot of time and effort to update that thread, and I'm afraid I no longer have that kind of time on my hands.

I took a break from here because I felt that I was wasting too much of my time in the "peripheral" sections (and topics) of the forum. The temporary ban might have triggered it. I've been a member since 2007, posting various architecture-related threads, but since this year SSC had become a sort of chat-and-entertainment place for me as well, which is IMO not a healthy thing.

Akash, Sudheesh, I did not feel bad or anything. I've been banned before, as someone so kindly pointed out, although it was because of a misunderstanding and nothing to do with the reasons that are being ascribed to it by the aforementioned kind person.
