People may have noticed that we opened a new subforum 中文版 to post Chinese language news/projects/skyscrapers.

Even though SSC is an international forum, non-English speaking forumers might also want to enjoy it. This is the initial idea to create the subforum to reduce the language barrier for skyscraper fans. English speaking forumers can use it to post Chinese language subjects or learn some Chinese.

We will create some sticky threads in that subforum. Please don't hesitate to let me know or post here if you have any suggestions.

Some of the "last post" information is wrong. And some threads have disappeared, then reappeared on a regular basis

yes it happened in last a couple of days. I guess some DB synchronization work is going on. But the data won't be lost.

I made some changes today moving most of the Chinese threads in City Hall and Tea House to 中文版.

最新论坛更新：

1. 中文的帖子已经移到中文版子论坛。
2. 奥运会的帖子移到城市论坛中。

下一步计划：

在城市论坛中创建城市索引(现在太多城市了), 可能需要一些时间来完成。

Argh! The same thing is happening again.

The forum page keeps on reverting to an older version of the "last post" information.

I am new here, but I think these three section should be moved to the China section. They are Chinese cities. they can have their own sub section here, but I think it is weird that they are put seperate like another country.

they used to be one forum but forumers can not get along. being as a separate forum doesn't mean they are separate countries. please focus more on projects and skyscrapers, thanks.

Prior to 2008, Chinese forum was pretty messy, full of bashing, littering posts and threads, trolling members everywhere, flame threads but after the revamp, the peace and order was restored. Until recently, this forum keeps receiving some new members with different screen names appearing in this forum with ill intention of trolling, it is believed that most of these new members are actually one person who was banned 2 years ago-Comanche-he was one of the main source of disorder in this forum back then, therefore to maintain the status quo of the forum, this mentally ill person with zillions accounts and "country origins" should be dealt with.

The forum's getting a little more exciting now with more threads, posts, and members, hopefully we can become one of the biggest subforums at skyscrapercity. I agree with you, moderators should be less hesitant in banning and should compare IPs of members to check for clone accounts and possibly do an IP ban of Comanche.
