  该项目按照国际领先和顶级商业、顶级写字楼、酒店、商务公寓的标准设计,其中368米高的办公楼造型优雅,形似“宝瓶”,顶部如瓶口向上张开。楼体的弧状造型似拱门,隐喻“津门”称谓。商场造型借鉴天津历史上四方城的概念,更显时代感,其屋面呈扇状展开,边界圆润,配以浪状构造,有如贝壳,寓意“渤海之贝”。整体建筑造型既有国际化的时代特征,又有中国文化内涵。

  大胡同国际商贸中心与周边泰达城(查看地图)欢乐港、小伙巷陆家嘴新天地等项目建成后,将成为天津重要的现代商务商业中心区。

So what is the current status of this project? Is it on-hold or still eventually moving into the prep stage? Would like to see current pictures of the site at least to discover what is going on. Thanks to anyone who can provide reliable information.

No news in years on this. Pretty sure it's a dead proposal. And also pretty sure they'll eventually propose something new because land prices are too high not to build tall (but maybe won't be a supertall)

This is going to be part of the West Station CBD I marked on this map. Many supertalls planned in the area.

Who's the developer? I think I read somewhere that China Resources was involved, but maybe I'm wrong.

haha so their headquarters in Shenzhen may get a height decrease so they just raise a building in Tianjin to 500m so that they still get their big tower done.
