This says about 6900 AADT which is not bad and also means that road Podgorica-Virpazar has even more traffic. It is about time for a new road. Is there any news about it?

We have all kinds of plans, some dating back to over a century ago, but money is the issue.

Google street View was released for MNE. Nice. The roads were in good shape although poor amount of signposts.

You have to follow P19 and look out fpr seeing something since the construction mainly takes place in rural areas.

Example:
https://www.google.de/maps/place/Duc...7!4d19.3864918
https://www.google.de/maps/@42.58106...7i13312!8i6656
https://www.google.de/maps/@42.58179...7i13312!8i6656

There seems to be no works near Matesevo yet.

Update on construction of Moracica bridge

PM's of Montenegro, Serbia met the other day, one of the things agreed upon was fast-tracking the Belgrade-Bar motorway...

Quote:

PMs highlight economic benefits of upcoming highway between Montenegro, Serbia

BELGRADE, Feb. 3 (Xinhua) -- Montenegro and Serbia are eager to grasp business opportunities from soon-to-be-built highways between the two nations, the prime ministers of the two countries said Friday.

Montenegro's Prime Minister Dusko Markovic, on his first official foreign visit, said Serbia and Montenegro have common goals when it comes to economy and that the Belgrade-Podgorica-Bar highway would significantly contribute to their development by creating more business opportunities.

However, he pointed out that "peace and security in the region of the Western Balkans must be ensured in order for both countries to realize these business opportunities."
