from the first photo, the weather in dubai is not very good. if the photo is taken on a sunny , it would be better . the two guangzhou towers are growing fast.cool!!!

ICC construction progress looks a bit slow.. over on the thread, Cul shows further progress.

"Amazing" that buildings 300m to 394m are not even tall
enough to make this diagram.
This is a new era of skyscrapers, the latest boom cycle.
The 30's, 70's, now the 00's.
What is really surprising is that it is less than 10 years since 9-11.
At that time most people (including myself) would have predicted
an end of tall skyscrapers for a very long time.

I am glad I was wrong...

9-11 seemed to create a boom for skyscrapers? weird? eat that osama.
i also thought the opposite would have happened. but alas, we now are looking at a new era of the supertall, and a skyscraper which will double the height of former WTC.

You just need to look at a Mosscow diagram, it is the only city with a 200m u/c...

^yes thats weird. my diagram was copied from and i had no watermark and this one does? go figure.
i post diagrams for fun and interest of the forums not to make $$ or copyright.
maybe i should?
