The construction of the bridge is progressing at the snail's pace. It was supposed to be finished until the 1st of august this year, based on a second deadline.

Firma Rogariu Imobiliare Bucuresti va dezvolta la Bacau un centru comercial care va cuprinde, printre altele, un mall si un hipermarket, valoarea investitiei urmand sa se ridice la cel mult 35 mil. euro. "Proiectul va presupune in principal construirea unui hipermarket, a unei galerii comerciale sau mall, cu minimum 80 de locatii, a doua magazine de dimensiuni medii pentru retaileri specializati pe segmentul electronica si mobila, precum si o parcare de cateva sute de locuri", au declarat surse din companie. Centrul comercial ar putea cuprinde si un magazin apartinand grupului Dedeman Bacau, distribuitor de materiale de constructii si dealer auto. Potrivit reprezentantului firmei din Bucuresti, Dedeman este asociat in cadrul proiectului, dar participatiile investitionale ale celor doua firme in cadrul acestuia nu au fost inca stabilite.Reprezentantii Dedeman au confirmat colaborarea cu firma din Capitala, dar nu au oferit detalii.

It seems that Dedeman is out of the deal and in his place Carrefour will open a hypermarket. Now the construction have started after dismantling the former Agricola farm compound.

AFAIK This will be the second carrefour ?!

No, Carrefour isn't present in Bacau, so it doesn't have another shopping center in Bacau. The one who opened a second store last month was Billa (see the picture below).
Also another retailer which will be present in Bacau starting from this summer ( 8th of august ) is Real, who is located in the European Retail Park, next to Baumax and Promenada Mall.

Bacau projects&construction updates. City center and the region of Vasile Alecsandri and I.S.Sturza streets.

Pedestrian square in front of the House of Culture is almost ready. Only the street furniture remains to be installed.


It looks bad with those light poles gathered in a small space. Total different from the aspect shown in the render.


Renovation of the former county library "I.S.Sturza" had started this week.

I hope they don't stick only at fitting up the pavement and a fountain or street furniture. I hope they will plant quality grass and trees and maybe after several years the park will look just as good as Roses Park looks now.

Super ideea. I love refurbished/integrated industrial structures/buildings


Turnul IFA, cea mai înaltă construcţie din Suceava, având o înălţime de peste 200 de metri, este integrat în ansamblul construcţiei noului mall, după eliminarea totală a surselor de rugină, acesta urmând să fie amenajat arhitectural, urmând să îi fie găsită şi o utilitate practică.
