Once the little box in the middle turns green indicating that the focus has "grasped" the image then push it down all the way which snaps the photo. I hope this helps.
You also may need to check the exposure settings, they may be set for a longer time.

I'd like something like the Gateway Arch in St. Louis, but much taller. I think it has a very futuristic look to it.

No the Eiffel Tower would suck in too much planes and birddirt, i like these vertical funny coloured baguettes much more...

... i found these pics in another forum/thread, but i thought they would match in here, i think somme of the buildings are really going to be build as the photos are already little old and some buildings have been realised, but i admit you need some fantasy to identify them

I am glad we don't have the Sears building,I somewhat like the design, definitely the height, but the color of black doesn't fit in the Miami schemata. I think the arch would look nice at Government Cut or do cruise ships have height restrictions.LOL!

One on Watson island connected to another end to the empty lot behind Freedom Tower that then connects to another somewhere near Brickell. Maybe on Brickell Key if there is room. Pretend the photo below were buildings connected. And not in a straight line, but angled, like folded.

Revisting the idea of the arch, I think it's a great idea for Miami. As the Gateway Arch in St. Louis symbolizes the gateway to the West, Miami's arch would be the Gateway to the Americas, but we would take it a few steps further and make the arch a signature supertall. I was thinking we could put one foot at the Villa Magna site which would be condos going up and out into the bay and a hotel with a marina like the Mariott at the other foot in the middle of Biscayne Bay and oriented directly east to west with an observation deck at the top of the apex of the arch. I would spread the bases out more than what's illustrated in the above diagram, but with that same thickness to accommodate condos and hotel rooms.

Since the building would peak out in Biscayne Bay, we could go taller than the 1,010 that would be allowed at the Villa Magna site. We could probably take the arch/building up to 1,100, maybe even 1,200 feet out in Biscayne Bay.

It is! it's pretty cool.... one of the few "landmarks" in the area... and a fitting entrance to the wonderful and world-reknown City of Opa-Locka (very close by)

Wow. I'm back in town all the time but rarely anywhere around there. I'm amazed that thing is still there!

And, yes, I would say it's close enough to be considered a portal to magnificent Opa-Locka, the Enchanted City where the good life gets better every day.

Besides, the County Commission is still dragging their feet on funding the 900-foot statue of Ali Baba that would be the PROPER gateway, so this will suffice (for now).
