But I'd certainly think (hope lol) you'll be able to see the entire pitch.

I think gouldy is talking about the small wall that's just been built at back of upper tier. It is in the same position as the windshield on the BW side so absolutely no restricted views of the pitch.

As for the wheelchair platforms at the back of the lower tier, lets wait until there are actually wheelchair users sitting watching the match from there before we draw any conclusions.

Yeh, crossed wires. I was refering to a previous post when I was refering to the lower tier.

I find the cladding a bit tacky. I know money decides what goes and what stays but surely they could of chosen a colour more easy on the eye. I know they are our colours (but not yellow) and we should be proud of them but the word overkill comes to mind. With the cladding, the seats and the cream coloured bricks its going to look a bit to much in my opinion. I would of prefered a clear or even a colour closer to copper than the one they have chosen. As most have said though, i guess we wont really know untill its all finished to have a final say on if it looks good or not. Just my opinion at the end of the day.

Does anybody know if that is the final chosen cladding at the back or if it's just temporary?
Might be just wishful thinking on my behalf hoping that it is temporary haha!

I was wondering this too. But I think it's the final finish as they had a similar panel in position above the turnstiles for weeks to test the colour.

The gold/orange/yellow on the new stand will still be more subtle than it was on then stand it replaced, IMHO.

Getting darker on the webcam now and the new cladding looks very close to our 'true' colours.

There was a question a few pages back (I think it might have been from Cavoyeur?), about whether the platforms had actually got the platforms inside them yet, or whether it was still just sructure. Well, I think this webcam image of a steward standing in the area suggests that there must be a platform there now!:

Edit:

There's a steward in the other platform now, as well, so they're definitely both now fully installed platforms.

I wish they'd do away with those platforms, and instead just add more seats to those two areas. Surely there's going to be more than enough areas in the redeveloped stadium to accommodate disabled people without the need for those platforms at the back of the first tier?

What about for the disabled fans who wish to use the WV1 suite? That, for me, is what those two disabled platforms are for.

Personally i think they should of extended the one nearest the SB or got rid of that one and placed it across the corner section. That one creates restricted views towards the corner nearest the BW, which will get even worse when they start developing the SB. They will have shift the pitch closer to the BW stand once they start development on that side and will have to keep it there once done because the stand will be moved closer.

They can't and won't move the pitch again because then it would be off centre with the Northbank if they do!

Interesting photo for looking at the back of the lower tier

The pitch has been moved many times over the years as you probably know but it can never be moved again now the Northbank has been rebuilt. It can be made wider (which I think it might have to be if we ever played in Europe- not sure) shorter (not a lot), but not longer!

The metal sheeting at the back of the stand looks quote nice from the outside, but inside....
It looks dreadful. Tacky cheap rubbish, it's like looking at the bad side of a fence panel.

If they are going to double up and fix another panel the seating side then fair enough but at the minute it ruins the stand

I wondered about this when looking at it on the webcam. On the inside, forget about the colour of the panel or the look of the panel itself, but with the way the fixing for the external panel is exposed, it looks really unfinished. So I'd like to think there will be a second internal panel.

It'll probably get covered in advertising boards.

Yeah, most likely. I'm sort of surprised it hasn't been named The Birmingham Midshires Stand, yet.

It's a sealed bidding process. The anti-post favourites are Brindleys and The Money Shop.
Sporting Bet feel they have cheapened Molineux enough and are now trying to do the same to White Hart Lane (the CEO - Andy, his real love is Spurs)
