Yeah, those mid-level platforms especially. They're certainly an odd feature, but I guess that it became very important to them to provide access for fans who wanted to use the WV1 facilites and then roll straight out of the door to watch the game, instead of being with the riff-raff downstairs or upstairs

That colour scheme has a bit of a 90's feel about it!

As bad as that kit was it was my first ever full kit as a kid so i pretty much have a soft spot for it. I think it's quite a clever design, could of been done a tad better though but... as for the layout of the seats, it's not floating my boat.

I suppose at the end of the day, when the stand is occupied, you don't see the seats anyway! Also, if there are going to be empty seats they will be more numerous in the corners. So black wouldn't make the empty seats seem as obvious as if they were 'gold'!

As bad as that kit was? That is my absolute favourite kit of all time from any team, ever! All of those kits from that year were amazing, my favourite was the 2nd goalie kit, which was yellow and purple. The 1st goalie kit was green and red and the away kit was that really nice turquoisey green colour. I loved all of those kits!

I had the baggy away kit for my sins! Don't know what happened to it but it was made of the kind of material that always looked new, if you know what I mean.
It could have been a lot worse...............................

Wolves kit 1883-86
or............

Wolves kit 1886-91

Have to say the lettering and wolves heads look amateurish on the render, but surely they would make a better job of it on the real thing? As for the black seats at the sides, I really like it. I'm just surprised that they aren't simply swapping black middle seats out of the lower tier and re using them for the upper sides. New gold seats could then go straight into the middle lower, meaning wolves would not have to hardly buy any new black seats at all!

Maybe i was refering to views of other people that i have personally come across when wearing the kit rather than my own because as i said it was my first full kit so i loved it and i too had the goalkeeper tops and the away kit. It reminds me of good times playing football against my Man U supporting (glory hunting) friends and kicking their ass! So i'm with you on this.

The latest LiveCam image shows the steps to pitch level being removed, which is normally a precursor to plant activity behind the goals...

Took some photos quickly this morning on the way into work, mainly to see what those 'Pill box' shaped things were that appeared on the webcam last night. Must have been a trick of the light as there was nothing there this morning.
It could be me being paranoid (as I really don't want a mixture of black & gold seats as shown in that video screen shot), but if you look closely at the boxes that have been laid out on the terracing you can just about see into the hand holes on the side of the boxes, I know the lids are on but I bet any money they are black seats.

Also on the fifth picture one of the boxes half way up appears to be ripped on the side...............

just a comment on the black seats at the sides, rember that the steve bull is comeing down (hopefully) in the next couple of years.

therefore it makes sense to use the temp black seats approach in the corner as they are likely to get a battering with dust & dirt etc when the SB stand is bulldozed...

Cheers Moose. Are they under orders not to reveal the golden seats before the OS updates with 'New golden seats installed in upper tier'? Surely we can get the scoop before the OS.

Noticed that they have not put any seat boxes on extreme right of stand. Might this be because the final side-rail/wind-shield is due imminently?

Also spotted the block inside the vomitories, presumable forming the upper tier toilet walls. That concourse must be close to final fixtures and fitting going in now.

Either they're very small seats well spaced or they're two per box.
One counter theory to my black outer seats is that there are some boxes behind the left hand (BW) side upper disabled area.

Stunning imagery Moose. Can you remind me what camera/lens you're using. I take a lot of photos (nature - predominantly birds) using a Canon 7D and 100-400mm zoom (normally hand held, but sometimes using a tripod).

It's a Sony bridge camera HX100V but it does have a 30x optical zoom
which is one of the reasons I bought it. It also takes really good HD video.

They probably are, I'm sure we will beat them to it.

Maybe the box placement yesterday was just a coincidence? They're putting more boxes out now.

Oh....

Actually they look a bit blacker than the other black seats. And they may just be protective covers.
