Personally, I'm unsure. The renders don't really clear up what's actually happening in that area, as you can't really make out whether there are or are not any boxes.

But I know they wouldn't get rid of any of their corporate facilities as they are always entirely full as it is, so Mr. Morgan's aim would always be to add more boxes I would asume. Based on that, I believe the boxes are set to continue around all 3 stands, yes.

Good progress.

If you notice the South Bank has seats all down the front row.

I must say, I don't like idea of having the exits at the front of the stand. The front row should span the width/length of the pitch rather than being broken up by exits. It's detrimental to the idea of creating an intimidating atmoshere.

I realise that there are a lot of final details missing from this image, but I'm fairly sure that the general structure and position of things in this image is correct. That being said; does anyone know what on earth is going on in the lower tier of the Steve Bull stand, where there are two random extra stairwells not centred about the halfway line? That's going to look odd from the tv camera gantry, isn't it?

If they do end up being there, in that position, it's going to look most peculiar to people watching our matches on tv...

More stairwell pieces added, plus it looks like theres a new larger piling machine on site.

There's a hell of a lot of lasses in that render!

Why are the vomitory walls so tall? They're higher than the JCB parked behind them...

I'd imagine them two extra will be the directors section and will be walled off just now shown in the image itself....that's the only reason I can think of any way!

Because they have to go to ground level. There will be space under neath the tier for toilets and refreshments etc. You can see height that the height terracing will be at - around two thirds of the way up. There must be around 5 rows of seating in front of the vomitory which seem to suggest they will slightly overlap the ends of the side stands, which begs the question: is the overall foot print of the stadium shifting during the re build ?

The answer is yes, very slightly. But the movement of the North Bank forward is mostly down to the new, shorter, pitch area.

The disability discrimination act means disabled spectators need to have access to every part of the stadium.

You cant simply say we will put the disabled in one stand. They have to have access to all stands and all facilities within the stands eg corporate boxes, luxury lounges, directors box etc.

While I understand that is true; when you look at the renders, there seems to be an awful lot of space dedicated to disabled fans around the ground. I realise that is a good thing, but given that there is already other disabled areas in that stand and that they pretty much entirely ruin the look of and atmosphere at that part of the stand... I'm not at all keen.

Quite obvious to see that those in the bottom corner of the Billy Wright stand (and Steve Bull stand until it is developed) will only ever be able to see the far half of the pitch. Probably 100 or so seats. Will they be sold at a discount price?

The concrete walls at the front of the stand would be a great place to advertise.

I've been thinking that the best way to make them look less horrendous would be to allow fans to hang banners from them, which is something they haven't really been able to do before. I remember trying to hang a flag over the front of the stand a few years back, before being told to remove it because it covered part of a sponsor hoarding.

I'm starting to think that there may be some seating in front of the concrete walls, particularly at the end next to the Billy Wright stand. Although the initial renders show an area set aside for weelchairs, I am wondering if they have now tweeked the initial designs and have come up with an alternative layout.

seeing as the wall now seems like it's going to extend across the entire stand, you could very well be right.

However, the distance between the stairwells towards this side of the stand (i.e. where we believe the disabled area to be) is smaller than that of the area next to it. So something is definitely different in that area.

I have just registered with this site, so hello to everyone. I was extreemly interested in the comparison with FC Twente and Wolves. I have been to the 'Grolsch Veste' stadium Twente on numerous occasions, if the revamped Molineux can achieve anywhere near the atmosphere of this then it will certainly be one of the best in the UK. FC Twente stadium is unbelievably steep so creates a wall of noise, and that is with 20,000 fans inside. Looking at the new Wolves stadium it is going to be extreemly close to the pitch and enclosed so should provide an intimidating atmosphere.

Welcome to the forum Tukkerwolf.
The FC Twente stadium looks good. I really like grounds that are close to the pitch with steep terracing.

There's currently a crane on site, unloading lorry loads of what appears to be structural steelwork, although I could be wrong!

EDIT: They're now actually erecting said structural steelwork!
