THAKURPUKUR | GENEXX VALLEY | 15fl X 10 (+ 23 other blocks) | Completed

Located on Diamond Harbour Road, Genexx Valley is spread over 20 acres (approx.) area, out of which 14 acres (approx.) have been devoted to greenery, play areas and water bodies. There are 33 buildings in this project.

- This is right next to the IIM Calcutta campus. Construction started after I left but have been observing the progress on my visits there. Nice to see that the first blocks have been completed.

To be honest and no disrespect for anybody

These look more like MIG government quarters but only a little taller.

It doesn't look that bad actually. In fact, its a huge project.

This is not a high end project. It's just a big project in the suburbs (next to IIM) being built by Paharpur Cooling towers.

Kolkata needs many such projects to match the income profile of the city. Eden City is another biggie that is coming up in Maheshtala.

I had seen these buildings rising from ground zero over the two years from my hostel corridor. Kinda kinldles my old memories.It looked a lot better when it was under construction. They could have chosen better color schemes. Nevertheless, it will improve the demand for commercial services and general lifestyle of the people in that area.
