Thanks for sharing these wonder pics of the most interesting and beautiful city in the south. New Orleans architecture is something I never get tired of looking at.

Despite the american look of the city, I think New Orleans is one of the few places in the US where the european and american ways coexisted, not only in peace, but in harmony as well!

I can also see a touch of the carribean in that city, or maybe a touch of french?! Hmm!

Nice pictures. I was down in New Orleans back in December and I loved it. I saw the French Quarter, Downtown, and a little bit of the Warehouse District, but I didn't get a chance to see the Garden District or Uptown. Those areas look nice as well, from your pictures.

Looks quite rundown, but otherwise nice.

Nice job....always interesting seeing my city through the eyes of someone from another city.

I live in Chicago but did my under graduate work at UNO. I've been to many cities throughout the south. NOLA may not be as big or successful as many of its southern brothers but IMO it is by far the most urban city in the south. It is also one of the most interesting cities in the country. Nothing but love for your city.

What makes a city look American? All those overhead wires? The architecture of New Orleans looks very early American. Many of those wrought iron balconies came from Philadelphia.

Ms Mae's! This is probably one of my favorite bars in New Orleans. It seriously has the cheapest drink prices I have ever seen and they are open 365/24/7.

This was my spot last February during Mardi Gras, me and my friends would post up outside this bar and watch the parades, go inside get a drink and come back out, and it was nice having a bathroom right there to use.

I love NOLA!
