Hi,
yesterday I returned from aiming of old Braník brewery in Prague. There is no more beer production and brewery was moved to Staropramen brewery 1-2 years ago. Now there should be some residence and hotel. I was really horrified of destruction of interiors. From the outside, it looked amazing, but in the inside...hell check some photosAnd inside... quite uniqe roof |

Of course Czech Pilsener is the best (because it comes from Plzen), but I like Weizen beers more. Are there Czech breweries who brew Weizen beer? (Hefeweizen)

^ Certainly. You can take a look at the list of beers brewed in czech breweries (including the pubs which brew their own beer). The strongest beer I have tasted is dark Primátor Double from Náchod brewery, which has 10% alcohol (marketed as 24° beer). But pretty much all the dark beer is too sweet for me.
Generally stronger beers have been domain of the smaller breweries. As the demand for specials have risen recently, the large ones started brewig them too. Ohh, this post just built up my taste, I can't wait for the evening visit of "Na Parkáně" in Pilsen, where there's a unfiltered Pilsner Urqell on tap. But now I'm still very early in my work hours.

yes Honza, that looks like a beer i will have to seek out.Copper kettles are important to
brewing good beer, budejovicky budvar and pilsner urquell have both resorted to stainless steel kettles and ruined their beer
