I wish we'd get something like this in more prominent locations (Like the ugly 4 seasons in Circular Quay, or Barangaroo)

Why is this taking so long? Originally the design comp was going to be September last year. Then all throughout this year for months Culwulla has said the design comp will be "soon."

The pessimist in me says this one isn't going to get up....

Keep in mind the D/A is for sale at the moment and obviously a major developer is going to snap it up.

Planning a development is a long process in Sydney town.

Ah yes, apologies, I do remember that now. I don't check back to the NSW forums often enough these days so forget what I've seen!

What we all suspected privately has been made public...Meriton are lurking

Quote:
Meriton is considering buying a Brookfield's site on the corner of Pitt Street and Bathurst Street in the Sydney CBD, which is proposed as the site for Sydney's tallest residential tower, rising to 65 storeys.

And thats good for us.

Harry T will not rest with World Tower and if he can go that step further, he will do it. He loves his city.

I'm more hesitant.

Whilst the certainty that Meriton provides in tough economic times is a boon, I'm worried that they will cut corners to cut costs.

115 Bathurst is a site that should not skimp on the finer details.
