Bali kot hudič križa? Lol, straw man.

"Rynek" and "targ" are synonyms in Polish (in most cases "rynek" is bigger and is central point of historical part of town/city, but it depends on the local tradition for naming; "targ" is often used for small "rynek", especially if only one kind of goods were traded there, for example name like "Targ Drzewny" / "Wood Market" is definitely more common than "Rynek Drzewny").
"Skwer" (square) is any rectangular place/plaza ("plac" in Polish) or park ("park"), especially if it's both. Some squares in Poland can be not rectangular if they are small parks (for some reason I couldn't explain ). Some plants on the plaza do not make it park. Some markets, after centuries of not being used for trading, can change their names into more general plaza. Big park with advanced infrastructure (lakes, pools, bridges, flowers, fountains) can be called garden ("ogród" in Polish).
You can also find "ulica" (street), "droga" (way), "trasa" (route), "aleja"/"bulwar" and "rondo" on Polish maps.

I hope it cleared all your potential doubts

very interesting only "droga" is a little bit funny, because it means illegal drugs here in Slovenia

And not "draga"?
Polish "droga" is simliar to the Russian "дорога".
"Droga" in Polish is also adjective for "expensive/valuable" and can be used while turning to a girl/woman you know (or woman to woman) and then it means "dear", just like in Russian "дорогая".
noun: "droga" (sing.), "drogi" (pl.)
adj.: "droga" (f.), "drogi" (m.)

You can hear in Polish also "dragi" being used as a slang word for "hard drugs".

False friends are typical especially between Polish and many Slavic languages south of Poland (including Czech & Slovak language)

OK, this discussion fits more another thread

It's all messed up. We say 'dragi' for 'dear' and 'droga' for 'drugs', you say 'droga' for 'dear' and 'dragi' for 'drugs'. Ridicoulously interesting
