I think OUB 2 looks beautiful. reminds me of the Prada bldg in Shibuya Tokyo. It complements the OUB tower well. I m so glad they didnt do a UOB 2 which reminds me of austin power's Dr Evil and his Mini Me.

I wish for smaller land plots in Singapore, so that individual businesses can build their own architecture, and not leave it to the huge developers, who are the only ones that can afford to buy such huge plots. Imagine Mt Elizabeth's houses being replaced by small wall-to-wall mini modern apartments and boutique shops.

The structure is now some 3 stories high, but it seems... a little odd.

What do you find odd? 3 stories does seem to be quite rapid though.

The new tower looks really nice! I think they should change the exterior of the the older tower too.

Wow, thanks for the pic. Well, work seems to be going well. Hope they can finish the project according to the deadline they set.

They NEED to do something about One Raffles Place tower 1. Up close, the white exterior is very badly maintained; some parts are white, some grey, some badly stained...

Would be interesting to see they address the narrow gap between this tower the the neighbouring building, which had been renovated a few years ago
