Everytime I look at those pictures again I end up looking forward to my next trip to Madrid, which will be soon for sure!

By the way, anyone can contribute adding their pictures and stuff, we can all help make this thread better!

By the way, Peshu, I agree Ciudad Universitaria is quite cool as well, have you ever lived in Madrid? Tell us about your experience!

I lived in Madrid for a year a few years ago. In Cuatro Caminos and for a time in Mostoles . I had a fantastic time . I especially love the center of Madrid . Even my time in Cuatro Caminos was very memorable . Lots of bars and shopping . I still remember going for walks in la Dehesa de la villa checking out the chicks arses during el paseo A city with So much character . Madrid is my fav city in Europe .

Cuatro Caminos is a place that has improved a lot since they eliminated the elevated road.

Maybe I´ll find more pix of it.

Now I have some more pix:

Moncloa:

Barrio de Salamanca, a place for shopping with XIX century architecture and well designed streets:

Plaza de España:

Around 6 kms. have been buried here and a tunnel constructed.

Tomorrow I´ll post the picture of the place finished to see the difference. I´m dead now!

Hope you like the pix, guys.

Grand job Madridhere .We are all really enjoyng the pictures they are quite amazing. I remember seeing an old postcard of an elevated road in Cuatro Caminos . I think it was called la glorieta . Thank goodness it's gone it looked so ugly . But i did quite like the area in general . Even the metro stop was really old and had a lot of character . The Barrio was a bit seedy in some places but over-all it's a very typically central Madrid suburb .

Thanks for the pix.

Barajas is always inspiring.

Look at this picture by m3c:

Madrid is a place full of events like concerts, exhibitions, company meetings, etc.

The Palacio de los Deportes is one of the two arenas usual for these things. The other one is Rockódromo.
Outside:

COncert of Bruce Springsteen in 2007 at Palacio de los Deportes (18.000 people):

Concert of Muse, same place, same people:

Concert of U2, at Vicente Calderón Stadium:

Beyoncé was here last year too:
