Everytime I look at those pictures again I end up looking forward to my next trip to Madrid, which will be soon for sure!
By the way, anyone can contribute adding their pictures and stuff, we can all help make this thread better! By the way, Peshu, I agree Ciudad Universitaria is quite cool as well, have you ever lived in Madrid? Tell us about your experience! |

Cuatro Caminos is a place that has improved a lot since they eliminated the elevated road.
Maybe I´ll find more pix of it. Now I have some more pix: Moncloa: ![]() Barrio de Salamanca, a place for shopping with XIX century architecture and well designed streets: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Plaza de España: ![]() Cibeles: ![]() ![]()

Grand job Madridhere .We are all really enjoyng the pictures they are quite amazing. I remember seeing an old postcard of an elevated road in Cuatro Caminos . I think it was called la glorieta . Thank goodness it's gone it looked so ugly . But i did quite like the area in general . Even the metro stop was really old and had a lot of character . The Barrio was a bit seedy in some places but over-all it's a very typically central Madrid suburb .

I think that's the only statue in the whole world representing the devil, I once heard it is located at 666,66 metres above the sea level and I watched a TV programme in which they proved that fact.
