Palais Royale will be Bombay's first Corian cladded tower.
This, ladies and gentlemen, is good news.

Even if its Corian cladded it is ugly!

Its going to ruin the Worli skyline. I hope it gets redesigned soon.

So its 50 floors with 320m? Dont look like its got 50 floors or even gets close to 320m.

I'm guessing you meant, 'redesign'. That's not going to happen, I'm afraid.

IMO, Corian is surely better suited to Bombay's weather, and will ensure that the building looks as good as new even after years of use. I think this is a much better (although much more expensive) alternative to the run-of-the-mill alluminium finishes we've seen over the past decade.

Expect the building to have interesting details (Talati & Panthaki is a stickler for perfect detailing). Hopefully, this detailing will take the edge off the overall uninspiring design (from up-close, atleast).

Unrelated to Palais Royale, but related to Talati and Panthaki Architects & Worli:
The ground floor (road level) of Ceejay House in Worli (TPA office), will soon be home to one of Jaguar's (JLR) few corporate showrooms around the world.

Nice update IU, btw this one is going up real fast - 5 floors per month if you compare the latest with the 27/2 photograph. That's impressive anywhere in the World!

Infact I see no substantial work done when we compare picture. Is the work in progress or stalled or slow progress ???
