Thge architecture there really is a bit crap. I'm guessing that most of it will be blocks of flats and holiay complexes though, which accounts for it.

it looks like shit, but benidorm isn't as bad as it seems once you're there. I wouldn't like to spend my entire holidays there, but for a day or two it's actually quite cool. a lot of bars, shops, nice beach.

i don't understand why rotterdam isn't in this poll, and amsterdam does, rotterdam does have a very wide skyline, and combinated with the river, and the harbour, it's for me the best skyline of europe

Agree. I just ignored the choices given, and made my own mind up. Rotterdam is better than any skyline in the EU, with the possible exception of Frankfurt. The omission of Rotterdam is as glaring as not including Toronto or Chicago in a best skyline in America poll.

hm... I am the threadstarter. Maybe I am (or anybody else is) allowed to restart this thread?

I forgot too many important cities (Rotterdam, Brussels,... ). [But NOT Moscow!!! Its not EU]

And I think, it is better if everybody can vote two oder three cities!

What do you think?

Moscow is arguably one of the best in Europe, but Russia is not in the EU. Check the thread topic!

I don't think I can say outright that Liverpool has the best Skyline in Europe, but in Britain I believe it does.

Like it's people they are part of England, but not of it, when you look at the Liverpool Skyline you know it's Liverpool's, you see the Albert Dock, you see the River Mersey and you see the Liverbirds, and it it's getting better.

Maybe I'm ignorant, but when I see MOST not all of Manchester's, Birmingham's or London's Skylines, they look 'generic' dare I say?

Granted you can tell them apart, but they are not as unique as the Liverpool Sky Line.

Please change the UK photos to read, Great Britain or United Kingdom please. I am fed up of foreigners thinking our nation is only England.

It's mostly England. Beyond that it's just celtic barbarians.

Best skylines for me: Frankfurt > La Defense > London > Warsaw > Rotterdam

Except for La Defense and London, most skylines look like they were thrown in there just for the sake of it.. Especially Rotterdam and Warsaw. No density.
