London, although a huge and brilliant city, has a very underwhelming skyline.

Frankfurt > Paris > Liverpool.

Here's Liverpool:

1. Paris
2. Torino
3. Berlin.
4. Madrid.
5. Roma.
6. Liverpool.
7. Edinburgh.
8. London.

...based not on sky-scrapers but on skyline and setting.

Frankfurt. London's skyline is not quite good enough yet, I dont like La Defense and I cant vote for Rotterdam.

1/ London (so diverse....multiple clustered centres)
1.1/ Paris (timeless Tour Eiffel in contrast to La Defense)
2/ Rotterdam (Not yet as tall as i'd like, but just brilliantly developed/ing)
3/ Warsaw (Contrast of Communist era and Capitalist now)
4/ Frankfurt (Some excellent buildings, good cluster but IMO lacks a certain something)

You could not have put up worse pictures of London and Birmingham's skylines.

Considering I know how Londons skyline really looks in all its glory, im gonna go with London first. Then Frankfurt, then Warsaw.

The photos are just examples. 1. everybody has his own pics in his mind if he thinks on a city and 2. you can show your favorite pics of the cities you like here too ;-)

By the way, My rating:

Frankfurt > Paris > Liverpool > Warsaw > London

What the ****? if your going to post pictures of any city please do it properly. How does that showcase Birminghams skyline? The picture itself is over 3 years old and its not even the skyline. Its looking at the conservation area

I dont see much differences... just one building and that building closes sight of MesseTurm; the most beautiful skyscraper in Europe.

Anyway Frankfurt is the best in EU.

look again. it's three 3 new buildings, and 1 total reconstruction.

the point is ... the photo is old, and not very suitable for this thread.

It's a pity the poll has been ruined by a number of over patriotic Liverpool forumers.

It would have been interesting to see the results of a fair poll. My top 8 from those listed...

1.Warsaw
2.Frankfurt
3.London
4.Paris
5.Liverpool
6.Rotterdam
7.Birmingham
8.Essen
