A walk around Vienna.

Hi,

For my first post I invite you to join me on a quick stroll from Nussdorf, at the northern end of the city, along the Blue Danube towards Vienna's highrise district. On our way back north we follow the Danube Canal, which cuts through the city and passes closely by the historic center.

Here we're crossing the Danube again and walking towards the inner city.

From the Schwedenplatz area we head back north along the Donaukanal.

Very nice pictures, the first 10 pictures certainly show a side of Vienna I didn't know existed! Very modern! In fact Picture 4 looks a little bit like the entrance to a North American city in some ways.

Thanks everyone !

@bahnsteig4: It's hard to post photos you haven't already covered in one of your threads.
Btw, I love your district by district series and I'm really looking forward to the next one.
