To be fair, CW is cubes but they are well made, high spec cubes usually. I'd rather this, so long as quality is maintained, than some halfed ar*ed curvy nonsense ala the lovingly value engineered Pinnacle.

The form isn't really the issue here, it's the glazing and the complete lack of elevational vigour which is.

The tower that will be built at 25 Churchill Place contains 23 floors above ground floor with promenade and basement levels below. The ground floor level contains two individual entrance lobbies. Above the ground floor level there will be 11 office floors, a services plantroom on the double height 12th floor and a further 8 office floors above. The tower is capped with a 3 levels containing services plant. The building is clad in metal and glass curtain wall on all four elevations.

Nice tower. London will look great in a few years time.
Does anyone know how many buildings are proposed, app or UC in Canary Wharf? Need it for a college project.

That is the old design for Heron Quays West. Replaced with a new design years ago.

http://canarywharf.co.uk/aboutus/The-Estate/Estate-Map/ is a good start. they used to colour code it (built, approved, planned) but this gives an idea of the final look

The model shows the short design. Interesting that it shows HQ west and North Quay, but not 1 Park Place.

Yes, but if you click on it the image that appears is the taller design. So who knows?

Anyone know if construction is, as sardinianboy suggests, likely to start any time soon?
