Better is Carrer dels Petons (Catalan for "Kisses street") in Barcelona.

Here in Oslo, one street sign is always stolen: Dops gate... (Yes, "dop" translates to "dope"...)

We have a road called "Stillwater Road". Giving directions while driving that road is a nightmare.

"What road are we on?"
"Stillwater Road."
"You mean we're still on Water Road?"
"No! Stillwater Road!"

Is it for real?

In Italy streets can only be given a name of a person if he/she is dead... but real!

A whole neighborhood in the city of Almere has been named after cartoons.

You may not recognize all names, because they were "Dutchified"

For example

Willie Wortelstraat = Gyro Gearloose
Dagobertstraat = Scrooge McDuck
Lampjestraat = Little Helper
Guus Gelukstraat = Gladstone Gander
Katrienstraat = Daisy Duck

There are also neighborhoods named after Lucky Luke characters, Spike and Suzy (Suske & Wiske in Dutch), and several other (Dutch) cartoons.

Fascinating.

I think I would feel pretty dumb saying to a lady: "Come to my place... it's between Mickey Mouse lane and Peppermint Patty avenue"..

However, if your love lasted long enough, children of yours would be happy to live there.

The best name for street is "Járy da Cimrmana" or "Járy Cimrmana" by far, and you can find it in most of czech towns (Brunn, Olmutz, Budweis etc.). It is named after nonexisting, artificial czech hero - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J%C3%A1ra_Cimrman

Regarding discussion from the first page, "V cípu" means (not literally) "In the corner."

"U úlů" - "At the Hives"
"U nás" - "At Us"
"Pod Vlastním Krovem" - "Under Our Roof"
"U Vlastního Krbu" - "At Our Fireplace"

In Liberec, we have "Sněhurčina" - named after "Sněhurka," "Snow White."
We had also street named "Na Bídě," "At Poverty," but it seems they renamed it to "Na Pláni," "On the Plain."
