Yes I know Nordstrom will be slightly taller but Nordstrom is Mixed Use, like Marina 101. So this building will be the tallest residential building in the world.

The developers should announce the height at 445 meters but then add another 20 or 30 meters so that way World One in Mumbai does not add a spire to the design to hold the worlds tallest residential title.

However 445 Meters is still very very high 10 feet taller than the Willis Towers roof and 100 feet taller than the roof on the One World Trade Center, that cheats with its 400 foot tall spire.

Slow but steady progress, hopefully this tower will begin to sprout like damac residenzes or the address the boulevard. Really excited for a tower of this height. Up until the Petronas were built in 1999. This tower is going to be taller than the Sears Tower, Empire State Building, World Trade Centers roof height and the Jin Mao Tower.

Does anybody have the dimensions on this tower, it looks like it has a small footprint, I wonder if it will be the world skinniest tower.

The small footprint tower boom in new york is rather recent, I would call 57th street the dubai marina of the USA, not the other way around. But besides that residential tower boom for the rich, I don't see many parallels between the two cities. Very different and both have their pros and cons in terms of their skylines.

Totally right! And now think of how dominating these towers are in the NYC / Chicago skyline! And Marina 106 will look average- a bit higher than the neighbours and is even taller than the towers you mentioned

I messed up the podium is much larger(nearly 3 times as large as 432 Park Avenues is however the tower is probably only slightly wider than 432 Park Avenue.
