This must be the first building I see with cladding starting from the top.

Looks really good thought, the cladding makes it look futuristic.

Agree. The way how they install cladding is weird. Still a nice one though.

Forgive me for my ignorance but where is the location of Guiyang and how come there are so many highrises there? Is that one if the important cities in China and what's its importance if there are?

It's the capital of the Guizhou province (in the southwest). It's importance is relative to its region, but outside of Guizhou it isn't exactly the most talked about city.
