Which city will be the rising skyscraper star in the next 5-10 years in Indonesia?
We all know that Jakarta, Surabaya and Medan are the Big 3 with the tallest skylines in Indonesia. But now many cities are trying to catch up with them, proposing, approving and constructing numerous high-rise buildings. I'd like to know which of Indonesia cities has the best chances to become the new rising star and maybe to become one of the 5-10 cities in Indonesia with the tallest skyline? In my opinion, the cities are Balikpapan, Makassar, and the new Free Trade Zone in Indonesia namely BBK (Batam-Bintan-Karimun).

Kota yang dulunya kurang terekspose, sekarang menggeliat dengan bangunan-bangunan tingginya. Sampai dengan 3 tahun ke depan ada 7 hotel berbintang & apartemen yang akan dibangun (yg merupakan bangunan tinggi semua) : 1. Mercure at Rooftop Solo Square Mall (8 storeys), 2. Aston hotel at SoloCenter Point Apartement (23 storeys), 3. Solo Paragon Apartement (24 storeys), 4. Swiss Belhotel at Kusuma Mulya Apartement (28 storeys), 5. Best Western Hotel (9 storeys), 6. Boutiq Hotel (15 storeys), 7. Ibis Hotel (10 storeys). Makanya banyak2 mampir ke Thread Pekanbaru ... Di kawasan yang diambil dari Lantai 11 Gedung Perkantoran Surya Dumai ini akan didirikan SUDIRMAN CITY CENTER yang sudah tahap construction ....image hosted on flickr  * Apartment 20 tingkat (ada 2 tower) * Hotel Bintang 5 sekitar 12-14 tingkat * Perkantoran Lux 6 tingkat Rendering ... :bisa klik di  ============ Dalam kawasan yang berdekatan akan dibangun juga Menara Bank RIau (15 tingkat = perkantoran) ,, Kira2 renderingnya seperti di bawah ini  Banguna no. 1, 2, dan 3 dari kiri sudah siap tanpa ada kendala, lancaaaaaarrr banget (padahal pembangunannya sampe 500 miliar , pake APBD sendiri) ..Bangunan yang paling kanan akan dibangun kira2 pertengahan tahun ini ... Ohyaa, kalau kamera geser agak ke kanan, juga sudah U/C The Peak Hotel & APartment (29 tingkat) .. Hotel Bintang 5 + APartment .. SUdah launching kok .. SUdah U/C malah  Ingat, Pekanbaru mungkin sedikit kota di Indonesia yang proyek pemerintah nya juga sama heboh sama dengan proyek swasta ... Aku sebenarnya tidak dapat memperkirakan apa lagi proyek pemerintah daerah yang heboh :p ... Speerti yang kita ketahui bersama, Pekanbaru tahun 2007 kemarin mengadakan helat FESTIVAL FILM INDONESIA 2007, yang diadakan di sebuah venue spesial :p...
