I'd argue that Quebec is very much a part of Latin America... it's just not south.
Beautiful pics BTW - but not quite what I was expecting. I had this mental image of BA looking exactly like Paris - seems to be very americanized as well.

Thnx for your comments , i just wanted to say that Buenos aires does look mostly classical than modern , and for some people is a south american Paris , i was just focused on this new are of the city...but this kind of architecture its not more than 30 % (prox) of the city style...theres plenty of threads of B.A. that are not focused on Puerto Madero...so you can find out about this...

Puerto Madero was builded to be the port of the city , but it lasted only a few years because it was too small for what Argentina was exporting back in the 30s ...so it was completely abandonned for decades , til Menem in the 90´s sold the lad to private investors. The area just boomed in construction since then and theres still a lot to come...

right now its not a port , the current por of the city is located just 1 kilometer away from Puerto Madero , this area of the city doesnt have a river coast anymore....because the ecological reserve is in between Puerto Madero and the Rio de la Plata...
