You certainly spent a lot of time on Flinders St Syd!

Love your work - you make the mundane seem sublime and the sublime seem magical. I'm a bit dissapointed that we didn't meet up for a drink though!

I am not sure whether or not you are thinking about Sydney but this thread is all about MELBOURNE ... the rain adds to the city's character - charming and romantic.

Melbourne is a pleasant surprise .... unfortunately we only got to see Melbourne and Sydney but I am sure that the Country is extremely diverse. Melbourne and Sydney are world's apart and don't share much in common.

Thanks Sweety - it is so easy to capture all that is Melbourne. The subject matter is diverse and very pleasing I don't think that I will ever take pics of Auckland again - it just seems so mundane now

We woke up at 6 and we were out in the streets by 6:30 ... we walked and walked and walked (almost everywhere) ... so much to see and so much to do. We would get back to the hotel by 8pm and pass out. Our legs are still aching and my feet have swollen ....

I am sorry, we couldn't meet up with anybody - there wasn't enough time but I promise that we will be back (and soon I hope) then we will definitely meet up

Wonderful work Sydney! You've captured the modern architecture of Melbourne especially well.

Thank you Accadacca, there is so much contemporary architecture in Melbourne - a feast for my very, very sore eyes

Yeah Australia isnt some barron land with Crocodile Dundee men and kangaroos jumping everywhere. It has Cosomopolitan cities that offer the best lifestyles. Melbourne has been voted world's most liveable city and these photos prove it.

Almost wet myself when I saw these, love it.

Great photos!! Refresh my memory... who was that Flinders man who was an historical figure in Australia?
