nice to see these structures .
but then thats where the fun ends .. coz most people can only SEE them . This skyline may look impressive , but i fear that the huge tracts of land city is being owned up only the super rich... I sincerely hope we get a lot of open spaces like parks, gardens , promenades etc. This upward growth maybe an instance of the how natural order of things works ; but i cant help being worried |

True, I agree with that although there is a need for more open spaces, gardens, parks civic amenities etc there is also a need for more hotels, housing, hospitals, Malls etc so a fine balance has to be found.
I do agree that most of the free space is being swallowed up for high rise development & there is a need for a equivalent of a Central Park in Mumbai along the lines of New York. |

From an investor report prepared by Edelweiss for Phoenix Mills, here's an old (and the initial) render of tower -
![]() The report was published earlier this year in January, so this pic of the tower u/c was most probably taken in December-

thanks for the update.
having a cylindrical 45-F would have been sweet. we already got rectangular highrise by 4-seasons hotel. circular 45-F would have made a huge statement. |

A Mall in the Bottom? Seems good.
It seems to be going up fast. And what's up with the random moonbounce in the middle of the path and near construction? |

^ The mall at the bottom of the building will be a luxury one. The pic was taken at Phoenix mills, a retail/entertainment complex.

Shangri la rising on the left end of the photograph. on last count it has risen to the 15th level, excluding 7-8 levels of car parking/shopping mall below.
