Russian investments, why not. There should be a market for top end apartments in this great city.

There are top end apartments in Paris. And they are certainly not in a tower, and not in LD. The price they are talking about is around 10K€/m2, which is just above west Paris average.

Billionaires in Paris are living in Villa Montmorency, Avenue Foch, Neuilly/Seine or in some Hotel Particulier in the center of the town.

No accurate dates for the time being, but Iskenderov said that work will start in late 2013/early 2014.

This news is a milestone, though there is still an agreement to be signed with the co-owners of the 'Damier Champagne' (one of the 3 residences), if there is a majority of them that approves Iskenderov's offer - big amount of money paid to refurbish their Damier, & to cover the charges involved by the demolition of the other 2 Damiers - (INFRA and ANJOU), then Hermitage will be given the go-ahead to start demolishing those buildings. The co-owners' meeting is to take place in the next few weeks.

Slowly but surely we're getting there, that's what matters...

These look fantastic… I just wish they were set backwards among the other towers … not in front of them

They'll be set backward if you look at them from the west side...

Norman Foster + Paris. What a magical combination! I was beginning to lose hope that these towers would be built.

But where is Paris in the output design ? It is just another glassymodernbox. NYC is planning to build near-supertalls with limestone decorations.

What Emin iskenderov said on Hermitage blog is:
Quote:
We plan to begin the demolition during the first half of 2014. The demolition will take between 6 months and 1 year, then the foundation will be dug. It will take about 1 year because its depth is 70 meters.
