!!! I was watching this movie a couple of months ago, can't remember the name it was kind of cheesy anyway. This killer was paid to kill someone in Budapest and the movie was filmed in the streets of downtown MXC. I was like wtf!

The movie is the Matador with Pierce Brosnan, they also show Santa Fe as Denver, Casa de la Bola as a palace in Austria and other parts as a street market in Manila.

Your pictures are awesome, I don't go to Historic Downtown very often but seeing your pics made me want to go and have lunch at the terrace that faces the Zocalo.

Well, I'm going to continue with more pics of Mexico City's downtown and surroundings.

This one is Juarez Avenue which takes you from Reforma Avenue to the "Zocalo" passing by the Palace of Fine Arts.

Remerber that same sex unions are legal in Mexico City...

The Palace of Fine Arts.

Along this street you can find lots of bookstore with a lovely architecture...

I kept walking over Juárez Avenue and entered the historic downtown...

This corner just across the Palace of Fine Arts is always crowded...

The House of Tiles...

Gante street is a totally walking and charming street...

They were prepping everything for a concert with several artists featuring Ricky Martin among them...

This building hosts an amazing pastry shop...

More picture to come... I'm waiting for your comments!

Normally the central part of mexico (MEXICO CITY) is very template in temperature as the highest normally everyday is about 20°C - 28°C anyday of the year and the hottest temperature we have had has been 33°C and in winter the highest is between 15°C - 25°C
