it has another 3.5 mn development. Now with QVC as partners funding wont be an issue ...

so 4.5 Mn sqft development coming at Marine drive - Kerala's most posh area...

There are height restrictions on Marine Drive. I don't think there are towers taller than 20 floors there currently!

Dewa Projects grabbed all necessary approvals so as to proceed with the construction. They had already completed construction of 3 levels of slabs. The building will have towers ranging from 23 to 27 floors and first phase construction area will have1.5 million sq. ft. of living space. This is a special zone as the land was purchased from GIDA, so they do not have height restriction like other buildings in Marine Drive. The tower will have 3 helipads(first time in Kerala) and incomparable amenities. Can expect the official launch soon.

This is going to be the biggest project in Marine Drive, against which other projects will be compared. Tata Tritvam & Prestige will have to try hard to compete with them.

DEWA Projects is a company with excellent financial back up, as they have hand on experience in developing mega projects in Middle East & Europe. The initial phase development is worth Rs. 1,400 crores.

Usually builders announce project immediately after purchase of land, but dewa shown a new path to keralites by progressing with the construction even much before the official launch!!

The new 4 track road is ready to use which links Marine Drive to Vaduthala. The road passes infront of DEWA Projects, Cochin.

will not be easy competing with tata tritvam.... Tata is a reputed brand ... and Dewa will have to go all out to take the lead....

Agree that Tata have a reputation in steel industry. In real estate Tata Reality do not have any completed projects so far or the experience(They are also freshers in the industry). Hope you know the worst cars in India are also produced by Tata.

As far as Marine Drive projects water view is the concern of all buyers, the water view of Tata Tritvam is very narrow as towers are arranged back to back as well as a heavy tension lines are passing next to the towers which may cause(research in Uk proves) drastic diseases like cancer.

Please also make note that TATA haven't yet grabbed necessary approvals to start the construction, and also that they have held the sales because of the issue. Check their site, so that u will not be able to find the floor plans(as its not approved), which is done to safeguard them self.

as many realtors are bleeding customer confidence is low . such worry wont happen with TAT . Customers know even if project get delayed by some months they will surely get posession .
Dewa's plus point is awesome waterfront but minus point is there is nothing to show case as history .

I have seen a huge construction by DEWA next to spencer plaza in chennai.. I doubt if spencer plaza was built by them..

any insight on land use pattern for Phase II , Marine drive badly needs a premium Mall with Multiplex....

Thread title to be changed , its still showing old 18-20 floor , should be changed to 23-28 floor towers .
