It's skyline is fine, but it doesn't sing to me. More variety, more mass, more height, and more historical depth is necessary before we upgrade this into the big-boys category.

8. great city, some very nice buildings, could use more of a skyline though, but downtown's very active. i had a paid vacation/school trip there about 7 years ago, very walkable downtown with lots to do.

one of my favorite U.S. cities.

They're about 30 miles apart from downtown to downtown, and about 11 miles aprart at their closest points. There's a photo on the web somewhere that shows both skylines...I'll try to find it.

Closeness doesn't make it a suburb of Dallas, and Fort Worth is no suburb. A suburb implies daytime population loss when people go to work somewhere else. Fort Worth is a hub for many of its own suburbs that are quite far from Dallas.

I was just at the Stock Show this week in FW, very nice. Lots of things being done to really get DT FW going.
