As always, brilliant shots. I never appreciated just how many old buildings there are in Sydney that remind me so much of Britain! It was stumbling upon a picture of Sydney university in a magazine the other day that helped! Great stuff!

Actually Britain wanted but to home the prisoners from England ..In that time didnt have much space to them, the prisons was all full of prisoners, so the empire moved them to the far away land of Australia. Its impressive how a country build by prisoners, with more than 70% of desert developed so fastt..definetly its a lucky country.

^ much of the oldest areas of Sydney were built by convicts. That is the case for allot of Australia's cities and towns.

I find Australia a great country because it's a part of the Western world even though it's so far away from us.

It has other interesting aspects of course.

Australia is a very interesting country with cities that are quite different from each other .... Melbourne is more European and Sydney is more American ... well worth a visit.

Australia is definitely a country in «vogue». At least here it's cool to say that you're going to live in Oz for two months or something like that .

I must be honest, I wouldn't live there, even though Australia offers everything that a modern, developed nation has. I like to know that I'm so close to the great European cities.

Visiting Oz? I do hope to get the chance to discover this wonderful country. I think that to many people in Europe there's a certain charm about Australia being «so far away».

I agree with you, if I lived in Europe I would stay there .. there is so much variety available for you and travel is cheaper there than it is here. You are very lucky mate
