This building has grown on me. I used to not like it, but now I sort of do. Weird

One has a stone facade and the other doesn't. ESB has a spire, 15 Penn's roof is flat. One building is 80 years old while the other building, hasn't even been built yet. ESB more like a great great grandfather than a twin.

Due to its simple structure this tower appears really massive and because of that it will really dominate Midtown. Wasn't there some kind of discussion going on that there should no such large buildings be allowed in vicinity of the ESB?

Yeah. It was basically the owners of the ESB not wanting to compete with another tower, it came down to money at the end of the day. It was all BS, but this tower has been 100% approved by all the necessary city agencies.

You most have a hard time reading. Because it clearly says ESB more like a great great grandfather. That's doesn't make 15 Penn a grandpa. It's makes 15 Penn a great great grandchild.

And that doesn't mean the buildings look a like to me.

Oops, you misuderstood me. I said that 15 Penn looks a lot like it's grandpa, this grandpa is the ESB, meaning that 15 Penn looks a lot like ESB
