How tall is that one? I'm guessing about the same height.
It will likely be not higher than Tower 111.

This tower actually has a prime location, it's going to have quite the impact street level. Thanks for the pictures!

It's really something that in Manhattan a 40 story highrise building is nothing or of very little note - but in most towns and cities in the world this would be a major construction project.

In person the glazing is beautiful, the colors selected work really well together and I have a good feeling about the outcome here.

"I hate the sun, shining trough my office window all day!"
"No problem, we'll fix the problem right away."
I love how they build these buildings in New York. Right against the other building, no space in between 'cos it's all needed.

We try not to have to many backstreets or alley's. where people could rubbed or otherwise hurt. and if there was space there, where would it lead into the back of the next building thats not good.

makes absolute sense! I'm not judging, its just that I find it funny to see them building over windows of other buildings. A thing that would never happen in my country.

Midtown's Tower 111 Gets Up Close and Personal With Neighbors

Quote:
February 2, 2010, by Joey

Architect Costas Kondylis's off-again, on-again 47-story Tower 111 is getting glassed on a dead stretch of Sixth Avenue just south of Herald Square, causing broker-blogger Andrew Fine to write, "While I might ordinarily criticize glass wall construction, maybe I'll give this a recession waver. After all, it's just good to see something going up these days!" We're thinking the folks (companies?) with windows just off Tower 111's south side might not agree with Fine's assessment.

This neighbor, that's an office building? I can't imagine how they would solve the window problem if it was a residential building next door.
